Sales Manager


To strengthen our team at YDF Showroom in Knightsbridge, London, we are looking for a:

Sales Manager (f/m/d)

You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle from proactive lead generation, prospecting/initial contact through booked sales. We are looking for a success-oriented individual with a proven record of exceeding sales targets, a high level of commitment and a strong desire to be part of a top-notch sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell both current and new products, while staying informed about market trends and changes. Achieve sales goals in targeted markets.
  • Implement the sales plan with a focus on establishing new business relationships with UK resellers. Proactively seek and engage new end clients.
  • Conduct research to understand customer requirements and resolve issues promptly.
  • Visit customers and potential clients to build relationships, follow up on leads, and provide technical information.
  • Achieve established sales budget goals, including revenue, profit, and expenses.
  • Consistently meet or exceed key performance indicators.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams and sales peers on competitive activities, pricing strategies, and marketing opportunities.
  • Deliver weekly updates on individual sales forecasts to the Sales Director.
  • The Sales Manager will travel up to 50% of the time.

Position requirements and qualifications

  • Over 10 years of experience in sales management, with a focus on high-end and luxury Audio-Visual sales.
  • A bachelor’s degree is advantageous.
  • Strong ability to assess and understand customer needs for effective decision-making.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • Outstanding skills in building and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Exceptional selling skills, capable of managing team dynamics, leveraging internal and external resources, and achieving sales targets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce, is a plus.
  • In-depth understanding of target market industries and key industry leaders within the geographic area is highly desirable.

We offer you a varied range of tasks in a young, dynamic team. The flat hierarchy and direct communication channels within the company allow you to contribute your own ideas.

For this position we offer a gross salary of GBP 45.000 - 120.000 per year (on a full-time basis and commissions) with appropriate experience. Depending on qualifications and previous experience, an overpayment is foreseen.
