Project- & After Sales Manager

About the job

The Project-/ After Sales Manager is responsible for optimizing all aspects of the after sales experience for the customer and maintaining customer relationships to measure satisfaction and encourage future sales.

Key responsibilities:

• Support of customer projects from the kick-off meeting to commissioning
• Compliance with project goals in terms of deadlines, costs and quality
• Ongoing coordination with internal project participants and customers
• Responsibility for technical clarification and claim management
• Preparation of status reports for internal and external customers
• Coordination and participation in customer meetings, also on site
• Regular project reporting to the management board
• Supervision of customer/dealer support and spare parts business area
• Expansion of technical support know-how and establishment of profit center
• Responsibility for training of service technicians internally and in the dealer network
• Route planning and responsibility for repair and service assignments in the USA
• Content preparation of technical instructions for service technicians
• Evaluations and statistics from field reports and budget planning
• Information preparation from the field and interface with quality management

Requirements:

• Completed higher technical education in the field of machine/plant construction
• At least 3 years of experience in project management, in plant engineering or special machine construction an advantage
• Resilient, technophile organizational talent with hands-on mentality
• Independent and proactive way of working with high quality awareness
• Professional appearance
• Willingness to travel worldwide for project-related business trips
• Other foreign languages an advantage
• Driving license

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: $64.480 - $80.000 per year

Benefits: Flexible schedule, paid time off, healthcare insurance, parking pass

Schedule: Monday to Friday, overtime, willing to work on weekends if necessary

Shift: 8 hour shift

Education: High School Diploma or GED
